My practice is an ongoing dialogue with light and shadow. Rooted in the aesthetic of 35mm black and white film, my work carries a stark, graphic sensibility where contrast welcomes the viewer to consider the necessity of polarities.
What began as a discipline in photography - developed while earning my BFA from Jacksonville University - has unfolded into painting and mixed media,
I am drawn to the dualities that shape human experience: the divine feminine and masculine, strength and softness, intimacy and distance. These tensions surface in the edges of my work. in the weight of a shadow, in the curve of a line, and in the quiet sensuality of the human form.
Through this lens, I create pieces that feel both timeless and alive, inviting viewers into a space where contrast is not opposition but harmony.
