Do you believe in the power of manifestation? Let me tell you this is not something that I ever considered until this past year. But when I tell you that us documenting this wedding was most certainly an act of manifestation or an answered prayer. Either way – it was a divine connection and I’m beyond glad that it happened.
I remember the day I got the inquiry – I about fell out of my chair! Are you kidding me right now!?!? These people are literally my ideal clients. It just so happens that morning I was meditating / praying that all of the things that I was stressed about would be resolved in the way that they were meant to. We were working on a bathroom project that was failing miserably and I desperately wanted to shoot some more weddings. Not even 7 hours later I got a message from Olivia about us shooting their wedding.
What the heck does that have to do with your bathroom? Well it just so happens that Olivia was engaged to a SUPER talented guy who does tile work and we were in desperate need of the help. So they hired us to do their wedding and we hired him to tile our shower! It was every bit of small business magic. (Side note – if you ever need tile work in Columbus Georgia, Monty Tile & Stone is the way to go!!)
Anyway Olivia and Terry are our ideal clients in so many ways and their day was absolutely perfect. It was an intimate gathering with their closest friends and family, did not include traditions that they did not want, and everyone had the best time. The wedding was on a rainy Saturday in December at The Illges House – a historic home in Columbus, Georgia.
